Ep 09 | Trusting What’s True with Sarah Jones
Today's episode is a conversation with Sarah Jones about learning to trust yourself, and her experience as a yoga teacher living with autoimmune disease.
This conversation was such a pleasure, not only for Sarah's luxurious Welsh accent but also her wisdom and passion. We covered so much ground, chatting about honouring the uncomfortable truths that our bodies tell us, ableism and the imagined ideal body in wellness, and the importance of body autonomy - especially when dealing with the medical industrial complex.
ABOUT SARAH
Sarah is an embodied yoga & movement teacher based in beautiful Wales.
She's been teaching for 6 years and loves seeing those moments when her students re-discover the beauty of coming home to their bodies. She lives for those moments herself. Practising embodiment has helped her fear her body less, and to cultivate a deep relationship with it even when it's not working for her!
