Ep 05 | The Pleasures of Food with Eliza Khinsoe
Eliza Khinsoe and I spoke about the pleasure of food, what non-diet nutrition looks like, and reclaiming food as a place for connection, heritage and joy - so much more than calories and nutrients
We got into all sorts of good stuff, from her lightbulb moment realising the implicit biases present in the traditional approach to nutrition, to the messy work of unpacking internalised health stigma. We talked about rediscovering your personal food culture, the pleasure of a shared brownie, and the way that food connects us to each other and the earth.
Eliza is a font of knowledge and an all round babe and I know you're going to find so many gems in our chat.
